I would never profess to be a techno wizard. However, I am proficient in the programs and formats that I need to use for my work and personal life. That being said, when something goes wrong with the computer and I’m not completely sure what the problem is, I am not the person that you want to go to for technological help.
In this particular case, I actually had to call for some help with my computer. I had moved all of my photos off of my phone onto my computer to make sure that they were safe and I had them saved on a hard drive. After moving them to my computer I erased them from my phone which caused a little stress because I knew that it was very important that I not lose my last photos of Rob.
Suddenly, a day or 2 after I moved the photos, a pop up came across the screen saying that my memory was full and I needed to purchase more. Not a big deal. I went on and purchased more Microsoft OneDrive space so that I would be able to confidently store all of my documents and photos without worrying about running out of space.
But of course, like all simple things, this situation took a turn for the worse.
I had to call for Tech Support in the form of a Live Chat. Keep in mind that when my computer is working, I love it. When something goes wrong that I can’t fix, passersby are in grave danger of taking it off the forehead as it flies out of a window.
After some discussion, the agent decided that he would like to take mobile control of my screen. Again, no big deal. I had done this several times before and it was never an issue.
He asked before taking control that I close any sensitive documents or sites that I didn’t want him to see.
Simple.
Done.
But…. backtrack to this morning. I’m starting a new weight loss program and someone had suggested that I take a picture of myself in my bra and underwear so that at the end of the program I can compare the shape of my body. For those of you who don’t know me, I am pretty sure I have body dysmorphia and never take pictures of myself let alone in bra and underwear. But, considering how bad my memory is, I conceded that possibly it would be a good idea to take a picture so I could compare if there was any weight loss.
That was my first mistake.
Obviously I have never taken a half naked picture of myself because I completely forgot that it was even in the pictures that I had moved over from my phone. When the agent took mobile control, what do you think was the FIRST thing to pop up …. fullscreen sized…. on the screen!?
ME IN MY BRA AND UNDERWEAR!!
Thank God it was not a video call and I did not have to see his face.
Lesson learned?
NO HALF-NAKED PHOTOS ON YOUR PHONE! But I need another way to figure out how to compare Week 1 vs Week 12 “body” on this plan! For now, no more pictures!
Ohhhhh my god. hahaha I doubt he minded!!!
