I LOVE dogs!
My last dog, Cassius, Cash for short, was awesome.
He was also a Boxer and lived to be 10 years old which was the oldest of our three previous (to Clark) Boxers.
In the end, he had horrific breath! When he slept with me at night, sometimes he would wake me up and I couldn’t tell which end was nearest my face.
Had he just exhaled a big breath or farted in my face?
His gums had almost completely grown over his teeth and his breath was awful but who could resist his “smile”?
Not me … and he knew it!
Lesson learned? From a very young age, try to get your dog to sleep on your partner’s side of the bed!

I am just like you! A regular woman who went to work Monday to Friday, came home and did all that stuff that we all do - raised my kids, played with my dogs, worked around the house and spent time with my husband. Like most of us, I feel like I took that relationship for granted. I knew I was lucky but I didn't know HOW lucky - until January 26, 2021. The day that Rob passed away. As a way to work through this really crappy, unfair time, I thought I would start a blog. Not to whine and complain but to document those times AND the good ones! Because there ARE good times as well!
